Alterhuman Music!

Is there any music that you relate to your alterhumanity, or that you believe has alterhuman themes? Have you made any alterhuman playlists? Share it here!

I'd like to make this into a proper 8tracks mix (or whatever people use nowadays) but I have a small Forest Spirit playlist on YouTube.

I also think that Seeming's music is pretty alterhuman-y. Stranger is a good example (along with Feral from the same album).

Triinu: Oh I really like Cosmo Sheldrake for forest spirit music! You're playlist is really good too!

As a system we all like a variety of artists and genres. Phoenix associates with Vaporwave because of the bright and colorful aesthetic, they're a bright and colorful birb and it feels like them. Quasar can relate synthwave, darksynth, and cyberpunk music to their void and computer identities. Quasar also likes punk/queercore and feels it relates to their gender identity, though that may be less specifically alterhuman (they're masc-of-center gendervoid so there's some overlap). Viola relates to artists like Hayley Kiyoko and King Princess; musical expression of wlw sexuality feels important to her as a succubus. Alo likes chillwave/synthwave/vaporwave, and the artist Grimes, some of it feels to them like alien music.

""Do I have a kinfeels playlist"" ahahaha

So there's a fairly wide range of music types in this playlist, although it's very heavy on indie/folk rock. There's also Disney music, heavy metal, jazz, etc. Most of my favorite music, though, would include the band Lord Huron.

"Blue Bird" by Ikimono-gakari is a big alterhuman mood for me (lyrics here). The first line translates to "You say if you could fly, you would never come back", which I relate to wanting to transform into a winged creature and never turn back. There whole song has a really pure longing tone to it, but not in a sad way.
